We checked 100 beach venues along the Marbella coast and kept the 43 chiringuitos, beach bars by their plainer name, that are open, run their own website, and publish an actual menu on it. Rated 4.2★ between them, across 56,739 reviews.

How many chiringuitos are there in Marbella (2026)?
The Marbella Wire census counted 100 operating beach venues on the Marbella–San Pedro coastline in 2026: 43 of them chiringuitos proper (beach bars on the sand), the rest beach clubs and beachfront restaurants.

By the espeto measure: MC Beach (El Chiringuito) (Golden Mile) at €28 the skewer. The gastro end of the sand runs €40–120 a head; the traditional end still lunches at €20–35.

Choosing a chiringuito in Marbella
Use the beach or area first, then compare the menu. This census includes places with different price evidence: an espeto is one dish, a mains range describes menu items, and a per-head estimate is an estimate. The labels beside the figures explain which kind you are reading; they should not be combined into a single cheapest-to-dearest meal ranking.
Open a venue page for the menu source and practical details. Check separately whether you need a restaurant table or a sunbed, because food prices do not establish beach-access charges. If a restaurant does not publish a price we can verify, ask it directly instead of treating a blank cell as free. The cheap-eats list uses a different comparison: a named meal-sized dish.
