ABOUT

Est. in disbelief, Marbella, Spain.

Marbella Gone Mad is a small independent publication about the Costa del Sol. We do three things:

The daily lot. One real property listing a day, chosen for being absurd — the price, the taste, or the listing copy, ideally all three. The photos are the agencies' own, untouched. The asking price is verbatim. The eyebrow is ours.

The Wire. Short daily news briefs from the coast, in plain English, written in our voice with the facts taken from — and always linked to — their original source. We summarise and raise an eyebrow; we don't pretend to have done the reporting.

The numbers. Prices nobody else writes down: what a sunbed actually costs at every beach club (we go, regrettably), what listings ask versus what they asked last year. Data played completely straight — that's where the authority lives.

We are not estate agents. We don't sell listings, take commissions from beach clubs, or accept payment to feature — or unfeature — anything. When that ever changes for a specific piece of content, it will say so on the piece.

Something wrong, something mad, or something we should see? The tip line is the group chat you found us in — or the source links work in reverse.
