Police in Marbella

Three forces, three emergency numbers, and one online route for reporting a crime that only works for some crimes. Every address below is read from each force's own page, because an official station-finder tool answered the same query with different addresses twice.

Filing a report online

The national police's online route works for some crimes and not others. It cannot be used when:

  • the incident involved physical violence or intimidation
  • the offender is known to you or you could recognise them
  • there is a witness who saw it
  • you are under 18
  • it is happening right now, in which case ring 091 or 112

Filing the form is not the last step: the Policía Nacional's own instructions require the reporting party to sign the denuncia in person, at the comisaría chosen during the process, within 72 hours of submitting it, or it carries no legal validity at all (Policía Nacional, Oficina Virtual de Denuncias, read 4 September 2026).

Lost property

Marbella has no dedicated lost-property office. Items are held at the Policía Local headquarters, and no online form or published phone line exists for enquiries; going in person is the only route.

Where is the police station in Marbella?

The national police are at Avenida Arias de Velasco 25; the local police at Calle Juan de la Cierva; the Guardia Civil at Plaza de Leganitos 3. Ring 091, 092 or 062 for an emergency involving each force.

Can I file a police report online in Marbella?

Yes, through the national police's Oficina Virtual de Denuncias, but not if the incident involved violence or intimidation, you know or could recognise the offender, there was a witness, you are under 18, or it is happening right now, in which case ring 091 or 112 instead.

Where is lost property held in Marbella?

At the Policía Local headquarters on Calle Juan de la Cierva. There is no dedicated lost-property office, no online form and no published enquiry line; you go in person.

How this was read

Every address and phone number is read from the force's own site: denuncias.policia.es for the national police, the Ayuntamiento for the local police, and the Guardia Civil directory. The state's own station locator was tested and discarded: it returned different addresses and phone numbers for the same Marbella stations on two identical requests.
