As of 31 August 2026, on-street blue-zone parking in Marbella costs €0.72 an hour, and 2 of the city's 5 monitored car parks publish an hourly rate: €2.60 to €4.40 (Marbella Wire).
Where to leave a car by the old town and what each deck actually charges, what the street zones cost and when they are free, the four-colour system the town hall has approved, and who the low emissions zone lets in. Every figure comes from the operator or the ayuntamiento, on a stated date.
Car parks around the old town
The old town itself is pedestrian lanes and a low emissions zone, so the game is the ring around it: two underground decks at its edge, one by the market, one square behind the seafront and one free open-air lot up the hill. The rates below are the operators' own published ones, read 31 August 2026; the board at the entrance is the one that counts. Both Indigo decks take nothing taller than 1.9 m.

Free parking in Marbella
If your priority is avoiding a garage charge, the municipal tourism directory lists Arroyo de la Represa as a free open-air option. Places are limited and availability is not live, so keep the paid ring options as a backup.

The zona azul and the zona verde
On-street parking in the centre is regulated in two colours. The blue zone is for rotation, 2 h maximum; the green zone rings residential streets and allows up to 5 h. Both charge Monday to Friday 9:00–14:00 and 16:30–20:30 and Saturday 9:00–14:00, and both are free on Sundays and holidays. The meters take cash, not cards; the alternative is the EasyPark app. These are the tariffs the ayuntamiento itself publishes:
Red, green, blue, orange: the approved reform
On 26 September 2025 the town hall initially approved a new regulated-parking ordinance that redraws the map in four colours. Red is pure rotation next to public offices: 30 min maximum, and the same space is barred for 60 min after you leave. Blue keeps its shopping-street role and stretches to 2 h 30 min. Green stays residential, capped at 4 h for non-residents. Orange is new: public car parks and overflow lots at a reduced tariff for stays up to 24 h. Resident-card holders park in every zone of their own district; the municipality is split into four of them.

No tariff table has been published yet, and the system starts only once the service contract is awarded, which the town hall estimated for early 2026. As of 31 August 2026 its own tourism pages still publish the two-colour tariffs above, so that is what you pay today. The low emissions zone of the old town
The historic centres of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara are designated low emissions zones (zona de bajas emisiones), the town hall's answer to Spain's climate law. Cars carrying a DGT environmental label, meaning B, C, ECO, Cero, can enter; a car with no label cannot, unless it belongs to a resident, a holder of a garage or premises inside the zone, a delivery run, health transport, a reduced-mobility card holder or the emergency services.

Enforcement is the asterisk. As of July 2025 the town hall was reinforcing the signage while saying out loud that the zone is provisional and carries no fines, with the definitive ordinance promised for late 2025 or mid 2026. The practical read does not change either way: the label rule is on the books, and the decks above all sit outside the restricted perimeter, so park on the ring and walk in. What's On Marbella

Choose the car park entrance as your navigation destination, then plan the rest of the visit from that location. For each option, compare the hourly tariff, any maximum stay, height restriction and the hours covered by an offer. An app pass and the price at the barrier may be different products.
The dates beside the tariffs and access rules matter. Check the linked operator and municipal information for your visit, and follow the signs on the street or at the entrance. A report about a proposed change is not the same as the rule currently displayed on a parking meter. If parking would complicate the trip, compare the local transport options before leaving.
